From early spring to late autumn you can enjoy cycling, hiking and walking in Tramin. Even the swimming season at Lake Kaltern starts earlier than anywhere else. The mild temperatures allow a refreshing jump into the warmest bathing lake in the Alps already in April.
Cycling through blooming orchards or enjoying a traditional “Törggele” meal, spending relaxing moments in the sports and leisure pool in Tramin, playing mini-golf or working out at the nearby sports facilities – after only five minutes’ walk the choice is yours.
Tramin offers all guests the perfect holiday atmosphere. Some are attracted by the culinary delights from North and South, others by the Mediterranean vegetation, and others by the varied event programme or simply the vast culture offer in and around the wine village of Tramin at the South Tyrolean Wine Road.

Vineyards dominate the landscape around Tramin. One variety in particular stands out. The orange grape seeds of the golden yellow Gewürztraminer.
Our local mountain is the Roen. With 2,116 m it is not particularly high. But watch out, Tramin is 250 m above sea level, so you have to climb 2,000 metres to reach its summit. The Roen is also not as well known as its Dolomite colleagues. But it is a fantastic viewpoint.
